They might just be a smidge late but the duffle bags have arrived!  The heavy-duty, most glorious 2013 Jamboree issued duffle bags have made it to the W.D. Boyce Council!  Check'em out, what do you think?

No Reason to Fear

There has been an insane amount of rain the past few days!  Little creek bridges have flooded, fields are under water and camping would be practically impossible.  Thankfully when we're at the Jamboree we'll be in brand new tents, sleeping on cots and snug as a bug in a rug if it rains.  Now we're not wishing for rain, far from it!  We're just happy we'll be dry if it does rain!

Get Your Jamboree ID Photo Uploaded by April 30

Remember when you registered online? It asked you to upload a photo of yourself, but you didn't have to do it right then. Well, you now have until April 30 to get your photo uploaded. Photos should be like a passport or driver's license photo -- straight on, head and shoulders only. Avoid using photos with anyone or anything else in them, or photos taken from a distance. If you don't like the one you originally sent, you can update it up until April 30. If you have questions about what kind of photo is needed, or how to get it uploaded, contact the Jamboree registrar at 2013jamboree@scouting.org.

It has arrived

Hey Crew 404! Your Jamboree daypacks have arrived. It's rugged and roomy for all of the stuff you'll want to carry around with you, and includes an embroidered design to ID you as a member of the W.D. Boyce contingent. As soon as we get your other gear, like the duffle, tshirts, hats, and patches, we'll put it all together with this and let you know when and where you can get yours. Keep checking back for more news...

Singing the Night Away

What's a Scouting and Venturing weekend without some songs?  What's your favorite song or skit?  One of our favorites is Gray Squirrel. It might just be because we get to swish our tails. :)

Not too much longer

With fewer than 100 days until the Jamboree do you have your activities selected?  Do you have your uniforms ordered?  Have you turned in your health and medical record?

There are only 97 days until we spend a full 10 days with 40,000 Scouts and Venturers!  Get ready for a trip of a lifetime!  Let the countdown begin!
 

Electronics at Jamboree!?!

Later this month a 2013 Jamboree App will be released for only $0.99!  The app will be pretty sweet.  We'll be able to keep track of activities, access maps and find the closest activities to our locations.

The Jamboree App will be available for all Apple and Android phones.  There will be a GPS feature to the

app that will allow you to see where your fellow Venturers are located when we 'friend' our crew members or anyone else we meet at Jamboree
